More or less minimal testcase for Hls.js issue #3811.

Open browser dev tools and then click to reproduce bug.

Click on button calls video.play(), and after 350ms sets video.currentTime = 263

Watch dev tools network tab and see Hls.js load …/segment27_0_av.ts many, many times.
